Exhibition — The Gates of Power: The Precinct of the Grand Cloister of Saint Jean in the 15th Century - Lyon, 5th Arrondissement

As part of the Lyon Biennale 2026 - Contemporary Art , discover an exhibition that invites you to wander through Old Lyon (Vieux Lyon) and rediscover the history of the Grand Cloître Saint-Jean through contemporary art.
Exhibition composed of two parts:
— Exhibition of paintings by Denis Prieur (2026 creations ) and Jacqueline Salmon (from "les œillets" collection): to be discovered in the four bay windows of the Catholic Diocese of Lyon (6 avenue Adolphe Max) in partnership with the Françoise Besson gallery.
— A journey through the gates of power, a fresco by Pierre Mathieu, a young emerging artist. Inspired by the historical locations of the cloister's ancient gates, he has created a three-panel fresco installed in the public space.
